P001 → Hug Blanket

Hug Blanket is an interactive, heat-reactive Bluetooth blanket designed for long-distance couples.. With a tap, one person can send warmth to the other—simulating the feeling of a hug and creating a sense of presence, even from afar. The blanket uses thermochromic materials and embedded heating elements to deliver gentle warmth in real-time, bridging emotional gaps created by physical distance. This piece reflects my ongoing interest in designing with feeling—where function meets sentiment—and how interactive media can create deeply human moments. The Hug Blanket is less about utility, and more about building emotional resonance through simple, thoughtful interaction.
